The 17th Annual Frigid five mile run (and walk) will take place February 11th, 2012. This event is Edmond Running Club's annual fundraiser to support local organizations. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the cross country teams of the area high schools, as well as giving to the Edmond Parks and Recreation department to help beautify and maintain our local parks. This race will also be supporting Allied Arts which represents and supports 20 local arts groups in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas and serves as the advocate for Central Oklahoma's arts and cultural community. Come kick off the running season with a blast! Join us for the coolest run of the year! Plenty of awards, techno-shirts, door prizes and great food/drinks inside the M.A.C. at Mitch Park.
